At Words of Life Kids, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God, created with a purpose and destined to shine His light. Our mission is to guide children to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and walk confidently in God’s truth. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where kids can learn the Word of God, build lasting friendships, and grow spiritually.
OUR PURPOSE
Our goal at Words of Life Kids is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus by teaching them the truth of God’s Word and guiding them to develop a strong foundation in their faith. We believe that God’s Word is essential for every child’s journey and that the Holy Spirit empowers and guides us along the way.
Our ministry is designed to instill Biblical values, foster spiritual growth, and equip kids to live for Christ in every area of their lives. Through prayer, devotion, worship, and interactive learning, we aim to inspire each child to walk confidently on the path that God has set before them.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When your child joins us at Words of Life Kids, they will experience a welcoming and loving environment where they can grow in their faith and make new friends. Here’s what a typical Sunday looks like:
- Start Together: We begin with worship and prayer alongside the congregation in the main sanctuary.
- Kids’ Service: After worship and prayer, kids are invited to join us in the classroom for their own time of learning and fun.
- Prayer and Devotion Time: We pray together and share a short devotion, encouraging kids to think about how God’s Word applies to their lives.
- Scripture Memorization: Each month, we focus on memorizing a Bible verse that helps kids understand God’s truth.
- Superbook Curriculum: Kids watch engaging Superbook videos that bring Bible stories to life, followed by interactive discussions and hands-on activities to reinforce the lesson.
- Snack and Fellowship: We take time to enjoy a snack together while discussing what we’ve learned, building friendships, and sharing our thoughts.
- Special Activities: Throughout the year, we organize fun and faith-based activities to celebrate major Christian holidays and reinforce Biblical truths.
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
We are passionate about teaching children to love God and His Word. We believe that guiding children in their faith from a young age prepares them for a life of following Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we aim to see every child grow in wisdom, love, and understanding, equipped to be a light in their world.
Nursery for Little Ones
Our Nursery for Little Ones provides a safe, caring, and comfortable space for our youngest visitors. Located close to the main sanctuary, it allows parents to stay nearby while their little ones enjoy a peaceful and welcoming environment.
The nursery is beautifully decorated and equipped with toys, and play items that engage and comfort children. There’s also a cozy area for rest and a convenient place for diaper changes. Our heart is to make every child feel loved and secure while parents can worship and fellowship with peace of mind.
Whether your little one wants to play, rest, or simply be cuddled, we’re here to make their time at Shalom a happy and safe experience. We warmly invite families to stop by and see this special space made just for our tiniest blessings!

We invite you and your family to be part of our welcoming children’s ministry. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been with us for years, we welcome you with open arms. Our kids’ service takes place every Sunday after worship and prayer in the main sanctuary.
