At Words of Life, our Bible Studies are more than just a meeting. They are a gathering of hearts hungry for God’s presence, truth, and power. We come together to grow deeper in the Word, to be led by the Holy Spirit, and to build a community where every believer is strengthened and encouraged in their faith.
The early church in Acts devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. This is the heartbeat of our Bible Study gatherings. We desire to be a church that lives by the Word, moves by the Spirit, and supports one another as a family in Christ.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We meet every Saturday at 6:00 PM at the home of one of our church elders. The evening begins with a shared meal where everyone is welcome to bring a dish. We gather around the table in fellowship, laughter, and meaningful conversation.
After dinner, we break bread together and partake in communion, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and reflecting on the early church model in the Book of Acts.
We then enter a time of worship, prayer, and study of the Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our evening. Sometimes we spend more time in the Scriptures. Other times, worship and ministry to one another take the lead. We do not follow a strict program but move as the Spirit leads, trusting Him to bring transformation and truth into every heart.
This is a place where you can bring your burdens and be met with love, prayer, and discipleship. There is no judgment here, only a family ready to walk with you as we all grow in Christ.
